A life in motion.
Life is a series of steps that can lead you towards something ... or take you away from where you’ve been.
Sometimes it’s running away... sometimes it’s reaching out to explore, hoping to find something new. At each temporary destination we find ourselves, what happens there can change you, it can hurt you... or someone else, or it can bring profound realization.
Each rung up the ladder of life leads towards a different course, maybe it’s to a new beginning... or to a place that will remain unchanged for years.
THE QUESTIONS BEHIND THE STORIES
What is it that we’re searching for?
As we follow this meandering existence... what is it that we’re searching for?
Is it a person, a place, a sacred meaning, a direction... or is it our self? What will remain in our memories, and what do we want to forget... but can’t.
Who will pull us in... or push us out. Who is it that embraces our heart... and what does it all mean?

San Salvador, El Salvador
I was in San Salvador, El Salvador once during the anno de Paz. I was sitting in a stadium listening to the President of the country speak when suddenly, we heard machine gun bursts, firing outside the stadium. I ran towards the gunfire, rather than away from it.
Why?
Beirut, Lebanon
One morning I woke up in Beirut, Lebanon and the call to prayer was ringing out across the city. I watched from my window as people in the streets began stopping and kneeling in supplication, and I thought, how unified these people are... and how hard belief can be to come by... what is truth?
The Black Sea
Then there was one dark night, when I stood on a terrace watching a driving rainstorm sweep across the Black Sea, in the Crimea and I heard a knock at my door... I answered it.
A LIFE IN MUSIC
Music was once my purpose in life.
“The Heard”, “Knots”, “Shot the Fox”, “Symphony”, to name a few bands.
For years I traveled as a musician, playing everything from fine theaters to clubs scattered up and down the East Coast, I recorded at major studios... music was my purpose in life.
